About Minecraft Item IDs
Minecraft item IDs are unique identifiers used by commands, server plugins, datapacks, and mods. Modern Java Edition uses namespaced IDs such as minecraft:stone. Historical numerical IDs are displayed only when the source data includes a reviewed value.
Dataset Coverage
This catalog covers the complete Java Edition item registry through version 26.2 (Chaos Cubed): 1538 reviewed entries spanning every registered item with an in-game item form. The 1.21.11 base registry comes from PrismarineJS minecraft-data; items added in 26.1 (Tiny Takeover) and 26.2 (Chaos Cubed) were manually compiled from the Minecraft Wiki. Entry pictures are being rolled out in waves; entries without an image fall back to an icon.
Version policy: The complete registry is pinned to Java Edition 26.2. The latest stable release currently tracked is Java Edition 26.2. Snapshot content is not added to the stable catalog, and selected item facts reviewed against a newer release do not imply full registry coverage for that release.
