About the Invisibility Effect

Invisibility hides your player model from mobs and other players, though armor, held items, and particle effects can still give you away.

How to Get Invisibility in Survival

Corrupt a Potion of Night Vision with a fermented spider eye to brew the Potion of Invisibility, three minutes by default and eight with redstone. There is no beacon or food source, so potions are the whole supply.

Using Invisibility Well

Mobs only notice invisible players at very close range, making the potion perfect for sneaking through hostile areas or scouting. Remove your armor first: worn armor stays visible in Java Edition, and a floating chestplate is not stealthy.
