How to Get Iron Hoe
The Iron Hoe is crafted from two iron ingots and two sticks and has 250 durability. Hoes till dirt, grass blocks, and dirt paths into farmland for crops, and they break leaves, hay bales, and sculk-type blocks faster than any other tool. As a weapon in Java Edition it deals only 1 damage, but its attack speed of 3 is the fastest of any melee tool line.
- Smelt two iron ingots from raw iron.
- Place the ingots across the top-left and top-middle of a Crafting Table, with sticks in the middle and bottom-middle slots.
- Hold the hoe and right-click dirt or grass blocks beside water to create farmland, then plant seeds.
