How to Get Lapis Lazuli Ore
Lapis Lazuli Ore generates in two batches: one centered on Y=0 between Y=-32 and Y=32, and another spread evenly from Y=-64 to Y=64 that never generates exposed to air. A stone pickaxe or better is required, and each block drops 4–9 lapis lazuli plus 2–5 experience; Fortune multiplies the drop, reaching up to 36 lapis with Fortune III, while Silk Touch drops the block.
- Dig around Y=0 for the densest batch, or branch-mine anywhere between Y=-64 and Y=64.
- Mine the blue-flecked stone with a stone pickaxe or better.
- Collect 4–9 lapis lazuli per block—a Fortune pickaxe multiplies the yield for big enchanting sessions.
